‘Here we go again’, you’re all thinking. Another day, another fundraising campaign.
But we hope to change your mind. In support of the Reach Foundation, set up by Jim Stynes, which has for two decades improved the wellbeing of tens of thousands of young Australians we are looking to step out of our comfort zones and become ‘Heroes for Reach’.
Through your support and donations we are hoping to raise a collective total of $2,000 to give back to the Reach Foundation. But in order to make things a little more interesting and give you a little entertainment value for your dollar, we have each developed a set of challenges if we are to meet certain fundraising targets.
We will each complete an individual challenge as set out below:
Dalex: Take part in a stand-up comedy performance on the Wednesday 9th December 2015 at the Brunswick Hotel
Aaron: Will paint his nails pink for a week from the date $1000 is raised
Georgia: Will enter to complete The Age Run Melbourne Half Marathon
Giselle: Sing Karaoke at Charlton’s Bar on Thursday 3rd December
Jemma: Giving up coffee and chocolate for a month from the date $1000 is raised
As a group, taking place on Sunday the 6th of December we will pull on our finest Superhero get up and strut our stuff around the Tan (joining us or laughing from afar is optional).
So please, if not only to give to a great cause changing the lives of countless young Australians, but also to see us step out of our comfort zones then follow the ‘Give Now’ links and donate generously.
